We just had my 2nd appt...things are GREAT!! Yay! We heard the heart beat, and heard kicking too. So fun. I keep feeling as though I am showing quite early, but my doctor said my measurement is "impressive" and exactly where it needs to be.
I took a quick picture for my mom on my phone....So here's the tummy at about 12 1/2 weeks. That was just 3 days ago. I think I'm going to be huge haha. Yes our room is a mess and yes that is a polka dot bra!
And yes that is what I wear on Saturdays. I really need some new clothes, none of my pants are comfortable in the belly area at all.My ultrasound is June 1st..and we're still deciding if we want to know. Well, Jake says he's fine with keeping it a surprise. I really want to know, but sometimes think it will be fun to not. But let's get real here, how could you not find out!!?

Truly, it is too cute. Almost nauseatingly cute. You will have this adorable belly that everyone is envious of I'm sure so don't stress it. Plus it is sort of fun to get fat & it be acceptable. (haha)
Item #2: Here is my oh-so-humble opinion on finding out the gender...it is a surprise whether you find out at 20 weeks or when s/he is born. Plus finding out gives you something to look forward to in the middle of your pregnancy. BUT that being said, I wouldn't be opposed to waiting if Nick wasn't so anti. But since I know it is a girl, you don't need to find out for me. ;)
Kim. Don't get new pants! Get a Bella band! They are amazing! I STILL wear mine with jeans. You can get them in all different colors too :) Yay for a cute belly bump!
You look so cute! I could not STAND not knowing what the gender of my baby was. It made everything more real for me, being pregnant and all, knowing what I was expecting. My cousin didn't find out and she said that it got soooo hard at about 7 months, but they didn't want to pay for another ultrasound. A lot of people manage dealing with the surprise, though, I am just not a surprisey person ha ha.

You are so cute! Just you wait...I am starting to feel like I really look pregnant. I got huge over night. I feel like I was in the 'she just got chubby' stage for a long long time, but in these past 2 weeks I have grown a true pregnant belly out of no where. I am so excited for you guys!!! Oh, go get yourself a Bella Band. It will save you from buying clothes until you are much bigger.
I agree with Ashley. The Birth is an amazing experience anyways, adding the gender isn't going to make it that much more amazing. For you I think it totally gives to something to look forward to. You can start picking stuff out and deciding on baby rooms colors. It makes the waiting part more fun!
Side note on jeans, I got a pair of jeans with the "Secret fit belly" at I think 18 weeks. They are amazingly comfortable! If I had known they would be so comfy I probably would have bought them sooner! You are probably going to have to get some new jeans eventually why not make an excuse to go shopping for some NOW!!
Yeah that is so stinking exciting, your belly is so cute (and tiny) if ever you are feeling bad just come and see me ( you will notice I never post pics for a reason ha ha ha!) Anyways I hope you guys find out for my own selfish reasons, I want to know if it is going to be a mini Jake or a mini Kim...anyways we are so stoked for you guys and can't wait for more to come!

I vote for finding out! Do you really want all of your baby clothes and room to be Yellow and Green because you had to buy something? I support you either way! You look super cute btw.
