I thought I needed to list a few of our favorite things about our little boy! For memory's sake...
1- He still loves to cuddle, and sometimes asks to be rocked before bed.
2- He is coordinated, and can climb anything and everything. The kid's got some mad skills! Still though has a little bit of the toddler clumsiness, and it makes me laugh.
3- His words for his uncle Jordan and chocolate are the same thing: "Ga Ga." Don't ask me how he gets Ga Ga from either of those things. And the funny thing is, by now he can probably say both of the real words but Ga Ga just makes more sense haha.
4- He thinks he runs the show, wherever we are. A little bossy, yes. But he's confident and uses forethought to accomplish his mission.
5- He's always been good at obeying. When he turned two, it was a bit challenging to get him to do what we wanted but I have definitely been able to figure him out in a way that enables me to say and do the right things agreeable with what's going on in his head, to accomplish what we need to. That and learning he is going to do things in his own way (I can be a micro-manager sometimes).
6- He's a good boy about reading scriptures with us, praying, and going to church/nursery and sitting through sacrament. I thought we'd never get there.
7- Likes to throw snow at me haha
8- Loves to play "Ouch" (aka rough and tumble) with his uncle Jo Jo (haha Ga Ga), Papa, and Daddy.
9- Favorite things to do lately: play "Ouch," play with Play Dough, play "Tiger and Baby" (it seems the theme of a few Disney movies that a tiger/lion/leopard is trying to steal a baby), paint, watch a movie, play with his animals, blocks, and cars. He also likes to "swim" in the bathtub. Reading books.
Slurpee!
10- Loves amusement park rides
11- Says hooray "Haree!" and claps his hands when he is proud of himself or excited about something
12- Loves to to eat Cuties (clementines or mandarin oranges) he can eat 20 a day if I let him
13- Narrates movies as he is watching them
14- Is afraid of the Ogre whenever he is in a dark room
15- Everything is the color "bwoo."
Pouring rain at Lagoon
Our 10 foot snow man
Stretching with mom before a run
16- Is great about trying new foods...one bite haha! But the fact that he touches it, chews it and swallows it...that makes me happy!
17- Still has his birthmark on his bum and it totally looks like a bruise. It's gray and blue (trust me it's a birthmark, common in south americans...not surprised, right?) The doctor says they tend to disappear by age 3.
Sicky
18. Has a great imagination..good at playing pretend and I catch him talking to his toys all the time.
19. Likes to help mommy clean! Will grab a rag and imitate whatever I am doing.
20. To him, every man is a "dada" and woman a "mama." And he tells me a baby is crying by imitating it. For instance, at church the other day a baby was crying he said "bebe waaaaahhhahhhh."
Jungle Jims
The Aquarium
Bath time (under one year old)
Did his own hair
